He is certified as a mediator and regularly sits and hears cases for the Oakland County Circuit Court Mediation Program. In addition to his academic and professional associations, Mr. Colella is also an assistant coach and active player with the Detroit Tradesmen Rugby Football Club. He has played rugby in 7 different countries throughout Europe, Canada and the West Indies. Additionally, Mr. Colella has earned a 3rd degree black belt in the martial arts and has been involved in self-defense training of police officers, including local and state police.
